Katie & Charlie...The Food Post

This is the post I warned my blog readers about a few days ago;)

Katie & Charlie made all the food for their reception. Talk about a labor of love! I can only imagine how hard they must have worked so I thought it would be nice post a few images. Enjoy!

You are going to have to give me these people's contact information. Do they make cakes just for fun or as a business? For Bill's 60th bday party (which you are invited to by the way...did I tell you about it?) I am wanting something similar to the cake design shown above but only in a 6" cake.

Hi there - it is Katie, the bride from these shots. My husband and I work at a bakery in Ann Arbor, MI, Zingerman's Bakehouse. Our cake ladies made this beauty of a cake. I don't know where you are located, I am guessing in the Dayton area...but if you are willing to drive 3 hrs. up, we'd be happy to do it. A 6" cake would serve 6-8 people. We don't use any shortening or preservatives in our cakes...so they are really good! We make the fondant in house and so it tastes like the middle of an oreo.
