Sarah & Kevin are really easy going and they are a perfect match for one another. Both of their families & friends were incredibly sweet and it was a joy to be able to spend the day with them as well. All of the details came together so perfectly and the reception was filled with lots of fun and dancing. Day's before the wedding it was very cold and rainy however October 17th turned out to be a really beautiful day!

What an amazing day and take a look at this yummy golden light. I was so excited I could not hold it in, I know I shouted out a few times "O'my gosh - O'my gosh this is crazy beautiful".

I’m sorry dear blog for neglecting you lately, let’s not fight about it, let’s just pick up right where we left off;)

I wanted to pop in and let you know that YES I have been shooting like a madwoman and the unfortunate side effect of that is my blog has been neglected. I have a gorgeous wedding and babies, families & couples to show you…it’s just not going to be today.

I cannot believe Christmas is 49 days away...that's crazy! I will be posting canvas wrap specials very soon! Also find me on facebook: Tracy Abston, I have been posting lots of pictures on FB.

My assistant photographer Victoria posted this today on facebook today...~Kerry Letrick (friend of a friend) has a 5 yr old son, Noah. He is in the last stages of a 2 1/2 yr battle with Neuroblastoma Cancer. The family is celebrating Christmas next week and Noahs request is to get lots of Christmas cards. Lets get him some, please send cards to: Noah Biorkman 1141 Fountain View Circle, South Lyon, Mi 48178 Lets see how many cards we can get to this little guy. Please pass this on and help...It is amazing how the "little things" mean so much.

Fall Family Session

Two boys age 2 and 5, they just wanted to sword fight each other with sticks:) Jack & Owen are just the cutest little guys. I really wanted at least one great family picture and one of just the two boys. Yea... I had to resort in bribing a 5 year old with cash as a last-ditch effort but HEY it worked!

Beth & Brendan are such a great couple. They live in Chicago and was here in Dayton for a wedding so it worked out to be a perfect time to shoot their engagement photos. We had killer skies & temps...I LOVE Fall:)

just need to talk....

I can't begin to tell you all how lucky I feel to have so many people trust me with their memories. Also I have some of the most amazing and thoughtful clients I could dream of having. As wonderful and rewarding as this all is there are times when I feel overwhelmed. Last night I tossed and turned all night...worrying about my never ending too do list. For the most part I don't stress too much about it and stay focused but lately it's getting to me. I understand my clients are all excited to see the end result of their session, wedding, album etc... There is so much more beyond a click of the shutter. I constantly strive for perfection. Each and every image is edited and tweaked until it's just what I want. Often I will work from morning until late in the night editing, trying my best to keep up. It's takes hours and hours for every session; and I love doing it.! However I'm a one man show (so to speak) and I work as fast and hard as humanly possible. I've made a decision to cut back on the number of clients I take. Next year I will only be shooting one wedding per month so dates are very limited. However I have so many amazing photog friend in the industry & will be more than happy to give referrals.

Back to my amazing clients. Today I received the sweetest little green & white polka dotted package. Katie and Charlie Happy Anniversary and you have no idea how much this sweet little package means to me and what perfect timing. Hope things are going well. I want to hear all about the show. Thank you...thank you for the sweet letter and yummy zzang bars. You guys are the best!

So thoughtful guys:) These Zzang bars are the yummiest...most wonderful... melt in your mouth candy bars you ever tasted in your life! (warning: highly dangerous.)
