Phoot Booth

Having a photo booth at your wedding is always great fun, and a fantastic way to capture your guests having a ball. Everyone loves the old-school photo booths you get to squeeze into, the retro film strips that come.

The dynamic duo of John and Jane of John and Joseph Photography and Jane Lee Photography were recently married and of course, photography played a big part in their celebration. These two had a life sized card board cut out of themselves made for their guests to pose with and the results are hilarious.
.

Here are a few local booth rentals...

All your guests, from the little ones to the grandparents, will get wrapped up in the fun and have a blast taking photos! These days there are all kinds of booths available to rent including lots of digital options. You can use them for a photo guest book or just to let guests take home as keepsakes

Allure

This Sunday, August 10th, Allure will have a booth at the Dayton Bridal Expo from 11:00am - 4:00pm at the Dayton Convention Center. Blog Land

Happy Friday everyone! Have big plans for the weekend? Is this really August??? The weather is perfect. I'm shooting a sweet intimate wedding at the couples home. Totally excited for this one!!! The bride has put allot of time into her DIY projects and I cant wait to photograph every little detail:)

{Good Thing} Tees and Thank You

For your thank you cards, whether its after a bridal shower or to thank your the guests who attended your wedding, why not opt for postcards instead. Forget the folded thank you card.

Good thing courtesy of Marthastewart.com

For a cute twist on personalized thank-you notes, send gift-givers postcards of you and your groom wearing clothing emblazoned with messages. Use 3-inch-high stick-on vinyl lettering, peel off the backing, and affix the letters to plain shirts. Ask a friend to take digital pictures, then upload your favorite to a computer and print onto photo paper. We ran the photos through a Xyron sticker machine, which adds an adhesive backing. Attach each photo to a blank size-A6 postcard, and voila! — picture-perfect stationery.

Leah and Jason

It is so hard to believe that it has been a year! I hope you are doing great and enjoying life. I will never forget you guys! Leah I know your checking my blog...I see hits from Egypt all the time on my site meter;)
Cheers...
loved all your yummy details...
I remember jumping up & down with excitement after shooting this. Jason asked "do you think this shot is going to make the slideshow on the front of your website" and it did!

Recommendation: 28 Twenty

Truth be know I don't usually like working with videographers for reasons I wont go into right now. Well Andrew of 28Twenty has shown me what it's like to work with a real professional & respectful videographer. It started with a simple email:

Hi Tracy! My name is Andrew, and I'll be doing the videography for Beth and Greg this weekend, July 26. I thought I would shoot you a quick email to introduce myself, since we haven't worked together before! My wife Annette assists me,and we'll do our best to stay out of your way as much as possible! I'm sure there are some videographers who may get in the way, but I assure you that we're pretty easy to work with!

I knew Andrew was going to be fabulous to work with after receiving this email and let me tell you they totally rock! They are passionate, professional, and very easy going. Check out his website & blog. Make sure to watch a few of their sample videos. FYI Scott & Stephanie's Love Story....priceless!
Thank you Andrew & Annette! It was a pleasure working with you and look forward to working with you in the future.

I had the pleasure of working with Andrew Tate of 28 Twenty videography. Andrew and his wife Annette were a dream to work with. I cannot wait to see the video! Shout out to all my brides....I would highly recommend Andrew!

The ceremony and reception took place at the beautiful Dayton Art Institute

Note from the bride:

Tracy!!
We DID have a fabulous honeymoon and thanks to YOU, we have fabulous wedding photos! Thanks for sending me the sneak peak :) We had a really, really great time with you Tracy. You are so fun and laid back at the same time...your attitude is really easy to feed off of and you have some crazy ability to become invisible behind that camera! Everyone warns you about having a camera in your face the entire day, but I didn't even notice you and Brandy. Are you sure you were really taking pictures at my wedding?!?! We are so glad we chose you to do our photography...we couldn't have asked for anyone better. I was actually telling Greg I was sad I didn't get a chance to say good-bye to you before the end of the night. I wanted to tell you how much I loved you before we ran through those sparklers, but I didn't get the chance! My wedding day was SO fun and SO perfect...
