Sarah & Sean's Wedding

Sean & Sarah are a sweet couple who truly seem perfect for each other. The weather was absolutely gorgeous & Cox's Arboretum served as a beautiful backdrop. Their officiant a close friend the couple offered a very touching ceremony, mixing elements from different faiths into a unique celebration. A great time was had by all, including us:) Thanks, you guys! It was awesome!!!

Pam you are one of my new favorite people in the world. I know if we lived closer we would be the best of friends. I adore this post...it's so funny to read how you felt in front of the camera. BTW I wish I was 1/2 as photogenic as you! You should have mentioned that you was sick that day {who the heck looks that good sick???}. Anyways thank you for this fun post and your kind words. I look forward to reading your blog for years to come and I hope that we meet again soon. I would LOVE to have you come shoot a wedding with me sometime.

WPJA....officially accepted!

I just found out this morning that PicturesbyTracy was officially accepted into the Wedding Photojournalist Association! I am so incredibly flattered and excited to have been accepted! According to WPJA, only less than 5% of photographers applying the membership is qualified.

In the WPJA's own words, here is a description of the association:

"Leading the way in Wedding Photojournalism, WPJA represents the most discriminating talent around the world technically, creatively and visually. Qualified members hold industry-leading standards, skills and business integrity. IMPORTANT NOTE: Membership in the WPJA depends entirely on photographers meeting our high standards for inclusion. One CANNOT simply pay his/her way into the WPJA.
