Miss Hannah was the very first bride to meet me at the new studio & choose me as her wedding photographer=) She emailed me a few weeks ago telling me that her mom's birthday was coming up and that she wanted to do a session with her and her siblings as a gift for mom. I think that's a very thoughtful gift and as a mom I know I'd be thrilled if my children did this for me. Anyways I hope she loves them! ~Tracy

Demi + Tracy

A gorgeous mild summer day was the setting for Demi and Tracy, who recently celebrated their wedding day with friends and family at the Deer Creek Resort. The ceremony was held outdoors and it was decorated with tons of beautiful flowers by: Connell’s Maple Lee Flowers, and fabulous bridal party flowers and the reception flowers by:Erin McPeak (cousin of the bride) . The Fellowship Woodwind Quintet played during the ceremony.

As I was taking Demi and Tracy’s pictures my assistant Misty spotted this little boy watching from afar and this was the reaction I got… So what’s so funny about that??? Well he was a little under dressed if you know what I mean… {wink-wink}.
There are so-so-so many beautiful images of the two of you, this one is one of my favorites.
Tracy and her brother took over the dance floor! It was so cool!

E-Session Ideas

Clothing: The main thing is to stay away from patterns. Solid colors are great because they’re a lot less distracting. Bright colours can be fun to play around with but make sure you bring a change of clothes with something a little more low key. So bring a change of clothes, or bring three! Bring something that’s super casual and bring something dressy to change things up. Also...fab shoes ladies!


Location: My couples are looking for something less traditional, more candid and fun to look back on. So let’s choose a location (or several) that can lend to that.


: I love this image for so many reasons #1 It has meaning-this is where he took her on their first date.


Props: Anytime you can bring something to the shoot that highlights your personalities is an added bonus. I would love your pictures to reflect who you are and what you enjoy.


*ideas: Simple as cool sunglasses, a blanket-bottle of wine-glasses, your pet, sweet car, motorcycle.... anything that would add to the photo shoot.

Miss Ally is getting so big...

What a busy month. I'm trying my best to get caught up with all my editing. Last night I stayed up until after 4:00AM.... I was able to get Miss J, Mike & Anna and Ally & Camryn finished. We are planning are vacation to Clearwater Florida & making plans for the Grand Opening Party "finally..I know". Invitation email will go out very soon. The date is.....drum roll please.... August 24!!! I hope that everyone can make it out. Drinks/great food/entertainment should be fun.

On a very serious note: Please say a prayer for my brides mom "Debbie" She is in the hospital and the wedding is next weekend:( I can only imagine how hard this has been for Leah and her family. So again I ask all my loyal bloggers to say a special prayer.
